Entry Title: " No.9 Furniture Collection"
Company:
Studio Murmur
, United States
Category: Professional, Product
Designer(s): Theodore Thomas

Entry Description:

No. 9 is a collection of outdoor furniture made entirely from post-consumer waste, namely HDPE from single-use milk jugs sourced in The U.S. and Canada. The black color also contains post industrial waste from making the product itself.

99% of the waste from the manufacturing process is sent to a recycling plant where it is recycled again. No. 9 is manufactured by Loll Designs in Minnesota and shipped directly to end users from their manufacturing facility. Flat-packing and recycled packaging help to further maintain a low carbon footprint.

The No.9 is easily assembled and maintenance free. At the end of its long life cycle, it can be easily disassembled and recycled again.
